Middle School Students at AL have the opportunity to explore the history and culture of Africa and the Caribbean alongside their teachers through AL’s African Culture Club. The goal of the club is to expand students’ cultural awareness by sharing stories, music, and food with our diverse community of teachers from Africa and the African diaspora. Meetings will include lessons in West African drumming from our talented teachers.
