Track & Field

Program Overview

AL Track & Field is offered in the spring for 2nd-8th graders. We offer three divisions: MS (6th-8th) Track Team (competes in the IL-Metro KC League), a 4th–5th Grade Development Program and a 2nd-3rd Grade Beginning Basics Program.
The primary goals of the Track & Field Program at AL are to promote health and a lifelong love of physical activity; to foster school spirit; to develop skills in a fun, positive and safe environment with knowledgeable coaches; to encourage mentorship and to provide our students with the confidence to pursue opportunities in high school and beyond.
