Then she moved to Edina, Minnesota as a teacher trainee in a 1st grade classroom. She also taught in an American high school in Minneapolis as a French teacher trainee for students from 8th to 12th grade.

Julie's interests include cats, observing nature, swimming, writing, reading, singing and dancing. She likes talking to her family in France through her webcam and seeing her little cousins grow up.

Julie feels very thankful for the values of empathy, compassion and sensitivity that she has learned through her family and experiences, and also through her favorite books, films, and songs. These values are important in her life and she wishes to share them with her students.
