Annual Fund
Gifts to this fund allow the school to use your support where it is most needed to provide for the daily operation of the school and instruction of students.
As a public school, Académie Lafayette receives funding from tax revenue and does not charge tuition. However, as a charter school, Académie Lafayette forfeits approximately $400,000 annually from that revenue in bond repayment and sponsor expenses.
That’s why we need your help with the 2011-2012 Annual Fund.
Annual Fund gifts provide critical support for important programs such as free after school tutoring, international faculty, language immersion curriculum, door-to-door bussing. It also pays for basic expenses such as educational supplies, classroom materials, sports equipment, utilities, and building repairs.
IMPORTANT NEWS: Due to the recent failure of the Oak Street boilers, a significant portion of the 2011-2012 Annual Fund donations will be allocated to replacement of the heating system at the main campus. (November 16, 2011)
